‘Our final walk of 2015 was a coach walk to Ravesnworth in North Yorkshire
on Sunday 27th December. Recent floods did not deter many of our members
from three splendid walks in this often unexplored area.

The weather was kind to us with warm temperatures for the time of year and
all day lovely sunshine, although the ground was very muddy in parts!

Our thanks to leaders, Dave Savage, Tom Johnson and Peter Walton for three
interesting walks, with all of us finishing at the Fox Hall Inn for an end of year
fish and chip tea! - only the best for Sunderland Walking Club!

Our 2016 programme is printed and all members should have their personal copy
which acts as your membership card if you are seeking discounts at walking shops.

We have no less than 19 coach trips confirmed for 2016 and the programme looks
really good!

Here are the first few trips for your diary:-

Sunday 10th January 2016 - coach to Morpeth
Sunday 24th January 2016 - coach to Guisborough
Saturday 6th February 2016 - Coach to Warkworth

May I finally take this opportunity in thanking everyone in the club for their support
in 2015, wishing you a Happy New Year with lots of laughs on our walks programme
for 2016.
